Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.  - Socrates

For a brief look at why I teach my students with the style of teaching called TPRS (Teaching Proficiency Through Storytelling) and CI (Comprehensive Input) check out my IGNITE presentation below at the 'TPRS Neurology' button.  For a more in depth look at this information, along with a few interesting videos about neurology and the brain check out the link to my blog called, Classroom Theory.

Brain Based Learning

This page is for those deciding whether to use TPRS/CI or more traditional manners of language education. For those interested in brain based learning, and optimizing how our brains and bodies naturally learn to maximize learning, and educational technology.  If you are interested I encourage you to 'like' ProfePeplinski on Facebook for discussion opportunities and further reading.

If you would like to read about my classroom theory on brain based learning, and watch a few good videos on this style of teaching please click the 'Classroom Theory' blog.  For my IGNITE talk on why TPRS/CI is a natural fit for technology click the "TPRS Neurology" button, and for further suggested reading (with actual sources) click the 'further reading' button.
